Doug passed away after a short but very hard illness in Calgary, AB on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lynn, and his beautiful daughters, Rena and Cassie; as well as his granddaughters, Trinity Marie, age 6 and Teegan Rose, age 3 who were his pride and joy. Doug worked for the Calgary Board of Education as a Facility Operator for 27 years. He loved his job and made sure his school was the best it could be. After his retirement, Doug spent the rest of his time enjoying his grandchildren. He will be so sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A Service to say good-bye to Doug will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
