Dwight Edward Littlechilds

Dwight Edward Littlechilds passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, AB on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 74 years. He was born in August 1950 to Bertha & Russel Littlechilds in Trail, BC. He lived a very fulfilling life, his Faith in Jesus and the church community, was first and foremost. He took pride in leading a men's group for several years, often mentioning how special the time spent was. He loved spending time with family and friends. His love for the outdoors led him on many great endeavors, whether it was a weekend hike, a bike ride through Nose Hill, or camping with family and friends. His zest for life was always evident. Anyone who met him, and spent time with him, was left with a lasting impression and a true friend. His smile was contagious, his passion was powerful, his teasing was a daily event we all appreciated, and his knowledge was never ending. The memories he leaves all of us cannot be forgotten. As we say goodbye let us celebrate his life and reflect on how knowing him made all our lives better.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dolores; his daughter Sheila, grandsons Chris, Michael, Nate, granddaughter Emma as well their extended families and dozens of friends will also remember the man that truly touched their lives.

Dwight was predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Bruce, as well by his loyal companion Oliver, all of whom will be waiting for his arrival with open arms.

A Celebration of Dwight’s life will be held at HARVEST HILLS ALLIANCE CHURCH (10099 Harvest Hills Blvd NW, Calgary AB) on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

Memorial donations in Dwight’s name will be gratefully accepted by Harvest Hills Alliance Church.
