The family of Elinor Sinclair sadly announce her passing on February 24, 2015. She passed away peacefully at the Millrise Intercare Centre where she received kind and thoughtful care and attention. Elinor was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be sadly missed. She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Jim, and her daughter Lindsay, her son Steven, daughter-in-law Charlene and her beloved grandchildren Zachary and Melina (in Edmonton).
Elinor and Jim met as teenagers in Aberdeen, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1954, where they married in 1955. Jim’s career moves with the Guardian Insurance Company resulted in them living in Montreal, Halifax and Calgary.
