Eliza Helen “Betty” passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Rockyview Hospital on January 4, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Betty is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her four sons, Graham (Nell) Grant, Bruce (Donna) Grant, Alex (Susan) Grant and Neal (Lyn) Grant and her sister Janette Ible. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Betty, the youngest of four children, was born to James and Charlotte Thomson in Beverly, Alberta on March 25, 1920. Mom enjoyed listening to Lawrence Welk, playing cards, board games, circle words and loved mini golf and bowling with her many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
