It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Loraine Davies, our dear Mother and Gramma. Born in London, Ontario, she passed away in Calgary on August 27, 2014 in her 90th year with her family by her side.
Elizabeth is survived by her children Loraine (Bill) Ellis, Patricia Davies and Bill (Joanne) Davies. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Tammy (Eldon), Rob (Tom), Anne (Darran), Courtney, Christopher (Joy) and Cassandra. Great-grandchildren Jordan, Dylan, Jackson, Joshua, Faith and Grace. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband William and youngest granddaughter Catrina.
Elizabeth had many enjoyments in her life including country living, her cats and dogs, Saturday shopping trips to town, knitting and most importantly spending time with family.
At Elizabeth’s request there will be no formal funeral service. Instead, friends and family gathered at the home of Loraine and Bill Ellis on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. when they celebrated Elizabeth’s life.
