Elsie is survived by her 4 children; Susan (Stanley) Paterson of Calgary, David (Sheila) Pignet of Calgary, Gloria (Larry) Peterson of Valemont, British Columbia and Sharon Pignet (Tyet Chau) of Calgary; 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by her husband V. Wally Pignet in 1990.
Born and raised in Calgary, Elsie had resided in the family’s Northwest Collingwood home for over 54 years before needing St. Marguerite Manor and the exceptional dementia care they provided.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM, with viewing prior to service.
The City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, requires all individuals attending funeral services to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, or proof of a privately paid negative test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of medical exemption.
