Dear Anna, Carlo and Family,

We are all so heartbroken. Our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Emma. There are no words to express the deep sadness we feel for the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. We are so blessed to have had a lifetime of beautiful and precious moments together with Emma, especially the great times our parents shared at each other’s homes, and together on vacation. Emma had the kindest heart, with a warm and glowing spirit that touched so many people. Her love of life came through in the wonderful food she made and always shared with family and friends. She will be dearly, dearly missed. May Emma’s love fill your hearts every day. Emma will always be with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So many memories go flashing through my brain thinking of you. I can't hear the word Bella without thinking of you. I remember this summer when I came back from Italy and showed you photos of your home town. How happy you were knowing I had visited it I will cherish that moment forever. We are devastated to hear that our beloved Comare Emma has passed away. There aren't words to describe the hole we feel in our hearts. Our friendship dates back to 1960 when she first arrived from Italy. There was an immediate connection between us that kept us tightly bonded for all these years. 
You were an incredible role model  and godmother to our son, Anthony. Our children were raised together and we have so many fond memories.
 I can't imagine going through another day and not hearing your voice as we talked daily and sometimes  multiple of times in a day. Amleto and I  loved you like a little sister. 
When Compare Leo died, it left an enormous void in your heart. We know that Compare Leo has welcomed you into his arms, as well as your big brother Mario. May you find eternal peace "Cumma". We are sending you all our love and prayers.

To Our Beloved Zia Emma,

We are absolutely devastated by the news of your passing. There isn't a person whose life you've touched that doesn't feel a sense of great loss. 

Looking back to when I was a child, I can remember seeing Zio Leo's red Jimmy driving down the road and getting excited knowing you were coming over for a visit. Or the times when we would get together to make our family tomato sauce and sausages. Or when we would just sit and talk for hours and I would ask an endless amount of questions regarding our family and how things were like in the "old days". For me it was always important to understand our Family Tree and you would always demonstrate your appreciation with your warm smile while squeezing my hand. Just know you are an irreplaceable branch of who I am today. 

Siana and I would like to thank you for the love you showed in welcoming baby Marco into the family and we are so happy we were able to visit with you on Halloween. Baby Marco loves you so much. We know just how much you love him.

Zia Emma you will be painfully missed but we have comfort in knowing you are now with Zio Leo, Nonno Mario, all your siblings and your parents.

I will always remember Emma as a beautiful lady inside and out.  She always had lots to say, and was a joy to talk to,  even if it was just in passing.   Would see her at banquets, or at the Italian Club, or at her house if picking up Carlo, and she was always the most friendly person.
She also a great cook and  baker, and she was not  shy to  give us some  if we should pop by to see Carlo.  
I hope you can all take solace in knowing that she is reunited with her dear husband, Leo now.

Zia Emma has always been a very special person in my life and I will miss her.  Those of us that were far also had the privilege to have her in our lives as she always made us feel loved and cared. She was always present in our lives through a call in Christmas, Easter or New Years or just any time.

I met Emma just over a year ago, while visiting another great friend of mine.  We became instant friends and every time I was in Calgary.  Emma and” the girls”, me being one of them, would get together and enjoy a good laugh great conversation and great food.  
Please accept my husband and my condolences on the passing of one of the sweetest ladies to cross my path in my 61 years of living.  Emma was a true angel on earth, and now gets to spread her angel wings next to her loving husband Leo who she spoke of so lovingly.  I will miss her greatly and loved her dearly. Emma will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of crossing her path. An angel who has just simply relocated to where she will be welcoming med with open arms. Emma’s walks up and down Hunterview Drive NW were always filled with waves at passersby and she would never forget to ask everyone how their family was doing.  Our deepest condolences go out to all of Emma’s family and friends and our prayers to her loved ones for strength in dealing with this great loss as we approach the Holiday season.
