Emmett Joseph Tobin of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. Emmett was the cherished father of Rosemary (Paul) Delaney, Marilyn, Maureen (Bruce) Hurl and Teresa, devoted grandfather to Patrick and Brendan Delaney, Ryan Hurl, Liam and Gillian Tobin-Huxley. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anita, in 2005 as well as his young grandson, Kieran Hurl, in 1995. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Colonel Belcher Care Facility in Calgary. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columban’s Church, Cornwall, Ontario on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Columban’s Cemetery in Cornwall, Ontario.
