Janet was such an amazing gift to know.  She had a light inside her that touched all who knew her.  Whether she was hitting me with her cane (LoL) or making a quick wise crack back me because of something silly I said to her, she always made me feel like family.  I will miss seeing her and I truly will miss our silly game of teasing each other. 
Deb you and your family are in my prayers.  Take comfort in knowing she is resting in God's loving embrace. 

I met Janet and Debbie in 2002.  My husband and I were new to the neighborhood.  We were dealing with my husbands diabetes and amputations and I was struggling to find my way in it all. To do something healthy for myself, I decided I to get out more so I made the decision to sell Avon.  It meant I could get out and walk door to door with books and perhaps meet more people.  That was when I met them.  They called for an order and we became instant friends. They had just lost their husband/dad to the same disease my husband was struggling with and they were able to provide me with the perfect support I needed at the time, someone who understood what I was dealing with.  

Over the years despite the fact that I lost my husband and moved away (and stopped selling Avon), we stayed friends and were always in contact.  We enjoyed some great visits in local parks and I always enjoyed stopping by for coffee and catch up visits.  Last years Christmas visit to my home was extra special and I will treasure the memories. They both were always interested in what was going on in my life and I enjoyed hearing about their family and goings on.  It was always loving and supportive and very special.  I loved Janet for her quiet wisdom and caring heart. 

I will miss her dearly but I know without a doubt she is finally at peace which warms my heart. I will forever treasure this special friendship with this very special women.
