Florence Joela LaPlaca Cymbala

Born in Bellevue, AB on December 30, 1925 Florence spent her early years in the Pass. After her marriage, she and her husband, Stan, raised five children in Calgary and Edmonton.

Florence is survived by her son Ted (Marion), and daughters Elaine (Jim) Donlevy, Sandra Grams, Kelly Cymbala (Don Edge). She is survived also by two sisters, Eileen Jensen (Calgary) and Marie McClafferty (Lethbridge). Florence was predeceased by Stan, her loving husband of sixty years, in 2006 and her daughter Myrna Gay in 1971. Florence and Stan leave a beautiful family legacy of nine grandchildren, Charlynn (Allan) Parry, Terra Gregory (Vern Fitzpatrick), Nathan (Amy), Caleb, and Jonathan Grams, Terry-Jane (Cory) Plaxton, Tristin (Shawn) Schutchings, Lindsey and Sara Edge, and seven great grandchildren, James Parry, Lexy Southwood, Michala Gregory, Taylor and Connor Plaxton, Daegen and Sasha Grams.

Services of a graveside Christian burial will be held at the Beechmont Cemetery, Edmonton, AB in early summer 2011 where Florence will rest beside Stan and Myrna in peace.
