Florence "Flo" Millar

Flo is lovingly remembered by her children, Andy (Margo) Millar, George (Penny) Millar, Tom Millar and Janette “Gin” Millar; grandchildren, Tyler Millar, Ava Millar (Joe), Karli Millar, Kati Given (Ken), Amie Watkins, Jana Watkins, and Jacob Millar as well as great grandchildren, Dawson Ward, Jayda Watkins-Hansen, and Jack-Ryan Costa-Millar. She is predeceased by her brother, Eugene Bouchard; parents, George and Florence Bouchard and her husband, Duane Millar. Flo was born and raised in Wayne, AB, the daughter of a coal miner. She moved to Calgary and married Duane Millar in 1954 where she raised her family of four. Flo was a hard working woman who enjoyed knitting and gardening, but mostly time spent with her family. She will be great missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1525 45 Street S.E., Calgary, AB on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountian View Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2.
