Grace Elizabeth Wallace

Grace Wallace passed away peacefully at home in Calgary, Alberta, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Dornan (Wayne), and son Keith Wallace (Kim), as well as her beloved grandchildren, Brett and Shawn Dornan, and Breanna, Emily, and Jillian Wallace. Grace is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Fran Mortensen and Fay Mortensen, and many nieces and nephews in the Nielsen, Ostensen, Mortensen, Christensen, Nowak, and Cherwayko families.

Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband, Neil Wallace. After almost 38 years apart, they are reunited. She is also predeceased by her birth parents, Niels and Valborg Nielsen; adopted parents, William and Marie Mortensen; siblings, Gordon Nielsen (Sophie), Elsie Ostensen (Ole), Eric Nielsen (Ethel), William Mortensen (Deanna), and Donald Mortensen. Predeceased also by Neil's family, parents-in-law, John and Mary Wallace; sisters-in-law, Mary MacKay (George), and Kathleen Nowak (Julian).

A special thank you to the staff at the Manor Village at Rocky Ridge who were always so kind to mom. We are grateful that she was able to remain in her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 11 Scenic Acres Gate NW, Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 am with interment to be held at Mountain View Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
