Greg Quinn passed away suddenly in Calgary, AB on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the age of 52 years.
Greg is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina; children, Rebekah (Keith), Matthew, Bethany, Hope, Hannah, and step-son Ryan. He is also survived by his parents, James and Jane of Saskatoon; brothers, Allan (Takanobu), Edward (Candy), Gary (Maria), Ken and Terry (Twila). Greg is predeceased by his sister, Faith, in 1966. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those who worked beside him. Greg was born in Swift Current, SK and grew up in Saskatoon before moving to Calgary. One of his favourite pastimes was reading. He loved poetry and history, but his favourite read was the Bible. Greg also loved writing. He was a huge outdoors enthusiast. Greg loved camping, hiking and fishing. Nature for him was a home away from home. He was a hard working handyman, always working on different projects and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed him. It was Greg’s kind and gentle heart and willingness to help that made him a dear friend to many, especially to those who needed the self-sacrificing love he showed.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
