Greta Jean DeVille passed away peacefully at the Kelowna General Hospital on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Greta was born in Richard, SK on April 13, 1932. Greta married Robert on June 13, 1955 in Rockyford, AB. She lived in Strathmore, AB for many years before moving to Calgary, AB in 1976, and then moved to Kelowna, BC in August of 2014. She worked at the Westin Hotel in Calgary for many years and retired in 1995. Greta is sadly missed by daughter Bonny (Marcello) DeVille-Colucci of Kelowna, BC; sons Kerry (Joanne) DeVille and Trevor (Holly) DeVille of Calgary, AB; sister Lois Gabruch of North Battleford, SK; sister-in-law Marg Hallett of Calgary, AB; as well as many nieces and nephews. Greta is also survived by grandchildren Lacey-Jo, Keith Piquette and Chase Christianson of Cranbrook, BC; and great-grandchildren Titus and April of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her husband Robert; parents Sarah and Alvin Hallett; sister Shirley Gabruch and brother Bill Hallett. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca
