He will be forever remembered by his wife of 59 years, Rose; his sons Darren (Pearl) and Terry (Audrey); his two precious granddaughters, Hayley and Jessica; as well as his sisters Ruth Schwarz and Hildegard Jaeger. He was predeceased by his parents Gustav and Juliane; his brother Wilhelm; and his nephew Alfred.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gus’ name to The Salvation Army, Agape Hospice (1302 – 8 Ave N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 1B8) or to Samaritan’s Purse (20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H5)
