Mum was born 22 September 1926 in Christchurch, England to Elsie and Arthur Morris. Mum met the love of her life Raymond Clark (1923 to 1999), and they married on 27 March 1948. In 1954 they emigrated to Canada with their small daughter Linda and settled in Regina. For 51 years, this loving couple raised their three children Linda (1951), Susan (1957) and Scott (1963). They watched them grow up to marry; Linda (Douglas) Harrington of North Carolina USA, Susan (Jim) Salmon of Calgary, Scott (Shannon) Clark of Moose Jaw. Gwen has eight wonderful grandchildren; Sarah, Adam, Matthew, Kaitlan, James, Lucas, Madison, Bailey and three great grandchildren Kage, Conner, and Sydney. In 1989 Gwen and Ray moved to Kamloops to enjoy their retirement with family and friends. After Ray passed in 1999, she remained in Kamloops with family until 2007 when she moved to Calgary. Gwen loved her garden, reading, doing crosswords, baking, and enjoyed travelling to visit relatives in the UK and around North America. Gwen will be sadly missed by relatives and friends in England, Regina, Calgary and Kamloops. The family would like to thank all the staff at Tudor Manor for the compassionate care of our mother during the last 14 months.
