Hank Krol

Hank was born in Leiden, Netherlands on February 14, 1919 and passed away in Calgary at Agape Hospice on March 22, 2015. He was raised in Indonesia and educated in the Netherlands in Automotive Engineering. Hank and his wife Kiki immigrated to Canada in 1958 where he worked at the University of Calgary until his retirement. He was predeceased by his wife Kiki in 2003. Hank was a lifelong car enthusiast and continued to train with weights well into his 80’s. He will be missed by his friends Petra Van Den Elzen and Jennifer Martison, his sister-in-law Reit Krol, and his two nieces Hanneke Van den Berg and Freda Krol (of the Netherlands). If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Agape Hospice 1302 8 Ave N.W. Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.
