May 20, 1927 – March 17, 2013
The family of Jim Lamb sadly announces his sudden passing on Sunday, March 17, 2013 after a very recent battle with cancer. Jim worked in the 1950’s and 60’s at the Canadian Locomotive Company in Kingston, ON as a Service Representative. Jim and Judy moved to Calgary in May, 1964, where he was employed by Huttons LTD., an old Calgary firm. In 1980, he began teaching Diesel Injection Technology at SAIT until his retirement. His passion was restoring English vintage motorcycles. Jim leaves behind his wife Judith (Judy) of 53 years of marriage; daughters Lesley and Janice (Luke Carnevale); sister Helen, nieces and many friends and colleagues to cherish his memory. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The Family would like to express their gratitude to Unit 47 of Foothills for their excellent care of Jim. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calgary Health Trust, 800 – 11012 MacLeod Trail S.E., Calgary, AB T2J 6A5.
