James Edward “Red” Loomis passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his wife Jeanne; daughter Sherry (Bud) Lloyd; two sons Ronald (Marlene) Loomis and Kenneth Loomis; six grandchildren Tonja, Kristal, Janine, James, Robert, and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren Stephany, Destany, Alexandra, Amelio, Hope, and Emery. Jim was predeceased by his mother, father, brother Ronald, and daughter-in-law Wanda.
Jim was a veteran and he served in WWII in England, Holland, and Germany. He worked many years in the Seismic industry. Retiring in 1988, he enjoyed golf, curling, crib, and RV-ing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Glenmore Temple, (921 68 Avenue SW), on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
