JP passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Foothills hospital surrounded by his closest friends and family. JP, a born and raised Calgarian, worked as a crane operator before retiring. He most enjoyed spending time with his friends who were considered “family” and was the best story teller in town. He loved his cat “Spokes” and enjoyed watching sports. JP loved motorcycles, as did his Dad. He rode and enjoyed going to rallies with close friends. He will be sadly missed by all of us. We know he is in heaven, reunited with Old Al. An angel took him by his hand to his prepared address: 1122 Boogie Woogie Avenue. We love you Brotha, from another Motha. JP is predeceased by father Allan Peterson (Old Al) and mother Dora Peterson (Mrs. P). A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
