It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of James William Shannon, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 79 years. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Emily (nee Niwranski) Shannon; his son Dennis (Melissa) Shannon; and grandchildren Josiah Shannon and Charity Shannon (Xanthus Schaub); as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his parents Orion and Kathleen Shannon; his brothers Keith and Drew Shannon; and his grandparents Besse and James Shannon.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
