

Born on April 8, 1940, in Joussard, Alberta, Joseph lived a distinguished life marked by professional excellence, personal discipline, and unwavering dedication to his family. He built a highly successful career in corporate finance, holding executive leadership roles with Boeing, Ford Canada, and Celanese, and serving on the boards of multiple private companies. His expertise, integrity, and strategic insight earned him the respect of colleagues and peers across industries.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joseph was a lifelong advocate for physical fitness and well-being. He was deeply committed to maintaining an active lifestyle, participating in long-distance running and rollerblading well into his later years. His discipline and determination in this area reflected the same focus and resilience that defined his career.
Joseph is survived by his beloved spouse, Gloria J. Dalton; his daughters, Celina (Steve) and Kimberley (Jim); and his six grandchildren (Sandra, Michael, Timothy, Christopher, Joy and Erin) and two great-daughters Mckayla and Brianna, who brought him great pride and joy.
He will be remembered for his strength of character, his commitment to excellence, and his enduring devotion to his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W. Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
