Anne was born on September 26, 1928, in Empress, Alberta and was the youngest of 6 children; Maurice, Edith, Richard, Jean, Bill born to Will and Ida Powers. She was raised in the Estuary area of southwestern, Saskatchewan. In 1949, she married Hubert (Hugh) Caza, and they farmed near Cabri, Saskatchewan. Their three oldest children, Richard, Mary, and Jeannine were born there.
In 1957, they moved to Calgary, Alberta. In 1959, Anne and Hugh moved their family to Grande Prairie in the Peace River country, where their youngest child, Alan, was born. They also homesteaded in the Goodwin area for a time. Anne and Hugh returned to Calgary in 1969, where Hugh succumbed to cancer in 1972. Anne resided in Calgary for the remainder of her life.
Anne is predeceased by her husband Hubert, daughter Jeannine Vetter in 1996, daughter-in-law Diane (Richard) in 2015, her parents and all her siblings. She is survived by her son Richard, daughter Mary Morrison (George), and son Alan, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
