

Kerry Norman D’Arcy passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 61 years. Kerry is very sadly missed by Carolyn, his loving wife of forty years, daughter Amy, mother Norma, “sis” Cathy Quinn (Jim), brothers; Ken (Anita) and Chris (Lisa), father-in-law Clarence Penney and brothers-in-law Carl (Peggy) and Robbin and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by father Dale and mother-in-law June. Kerry took pride in his accomplishments and found pleasure and fun in everything he did. He was known for his great sense of humor, gourmet dinner parties and backyard barbeques. His career began as an electrician and culminated as Maintenance Manager with the Calgary Sun. While with the Sun he took great pleasure volunteering and racing on their ski team. After retirement Kerry found a passion for painting and his home became an art gallery. His artwork is cherished by many family and friends. Kerry enjoyed the outdoors cycling, skiing, golfing and fishing. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at Canada Olympic Park, 88 Canada Olympic Road S.W., Calgary, AB in the Markin MacPhail Centre at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2013. Kerry could always be spotted in one of his Tommy Bahama outfits so please feel free to sport your best Tommy wear for the celebration.
