Kimberley was born on July 1, 1967, making her a centennial baby and proudly shared her birthday with Canada’s 100th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. Kimberley was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and spent her formative years excelling as a competitive swimmer winning her many medals and affording her the opportunity to travel all over Canada.
In her professional life, Kimberley studied business administration and basic accounting in Edmonton and went on to hone these skills for several companies, most notably Sumitomo Canada Limited and Citimail Inc.
Kimberley was predeceased by her (grand) parents Betty & Charles “Bud” Couttie. She is survived by her mother Jaqueline (Leigh) Stull and longtime partner Cal Whiting.
Kimberley was an avid animal lover and provided much love to her many pets over the years including dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, chinchillas, snakes, a turtle and more.
A private celebration of life will be held by family due to Covid-19 restrictions.
There will also be a private interment for Kimberley at Alberni Valley Memorial Gardens in Port Alberni, BC which will be her final resting place.
