We are sad to announce the passing of Laura McCallum on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Laura was a mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Block; sons Robert and James McCallum; 2 step sons and 2 step daughters; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and her partner of fifteen years, Tom Silver. Laura was predeceased by her husband John McCallum on September 3, 1995. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
