Lawrence was born to Anne and John Pasloski on July 21, 1944 in Canora, Saskatchewan. Lawrence grew up on the family farm which was located in the Rama district along with his brother and 2 sisters. His mother Anne passed away when the children were very young and at the age of 10, Lawrence was required to help their dad on the farm and help with the siblings. Soon after, John remarried Jean who continued to help raise the family.
Lawrence attended Dobrowody School where he finished school. Lawrence then moved to Snow Lake in Manitoba where he worked in the mine. During this time, he met the love of his life, Delores whom he married on August 4, 1966. Lawrence and Delores settled in Preeceville where they then were blessed with 3 children. While raising the children, Lawrence worked in the Creamery, managed Beaver Lumber and continued farming.
In the early 1980s Lawrence and Delores purchased an IGA store and turned it into a profitable business. In the late 1980s they continued their endeavours and moved to Moosomin Saskatchewan where they built and opened up a Dairy Queen.
After years of a fast paced work environment they decided to move closer to their grandchild in Fort McMurray. There, Lawrence worked as a salesperson for a grocery warehouse. In 1998, they decided to pursue another challenge; moving to Beaumont and purchasing 2 travel agencies.
After losing his wife in 2007, Lawrence decided to retire and reside in Mexico during the winter and the Saskatchewan family cabin in the summer. While Lawrence was in Mexico in 2020, he suffered a massive stroke. Lawrence was then brought back to Calgary, where he lived the last 2 years in the McKenzie Care Home.
