

Len Kurowski of Calgary, Alberta passed away suddenly on September 14, 2010 at the age of 55 years. Len was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; mother, Stephania; father, Harry; brother, Rick and sister, Joanna. He leaves to mourn his mother-in-law, Mae Hampshire; brothers-in-law, James (Mell) Hampshire, David (Roseanne) Hampshire and Michael Daniels; nephews, Marc and Sean Daniels, Andrew (Brett), Dallan and Devin Hampshire; nieces, Victoria (Duane) Zimmer, Megan and Jennifer Hampshire. Len was born in Edmonton on July 16, 1955 and was raised in the Slave Lake area. He attended the University of Alberta where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1979. Len was a long-time employee of Amoco Canada from being a student at Slave Lake to the office in Calgary before moving to other oilfield companies. He married the love of his life, Mag, in 1983. They had a wealth of friends who shared with them mutual passions of football and travelling. A Memorial Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W, Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road N.E.
