Linda was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on August 28, 1948 to Archie and Joyce Hill.
She is survived by her husband Paul Leger; sons, Chad, Lonnie, Cory (Crystal), Shane Moch; former husband Gary Moch; brothers, Danny Hill (Bonnie), Barry Erickson (Schari) and Reg Hill (Joanne); 11 grandchildren; nieces Lisa Stimatz Cox and Tanya Stimatz. Linda is predeceased by her Mom and Dad, sister Bonnie Hill, nephew Randy Stimatz and niece Fosta Moch.
Growing up Linda loved music and dancing; it was hard to keep up with her on the dance floor. She worked at her mom’s restaurant, The Old Chief, as a waitress and married at the age of seventeen. In the 1970’s she moved to Calgary and was a single mom working at Safeway in the bakery for over 25 years. Linda’s mission in life was her family. She was so proud of all her boys; they were her pride and joy.
In 2004, Linda married Paul Eugene Leger. They were true friends and enjoyed their life together. They loved having family around and Christmas time was always at their home.
Linda was a genuine, loving and caring person. She will be deeply missed by every person in our family and all of those who knew her. “Rest In Peace”
At Linda’s request a private family graveside service will be held.
Thank you to Linda’s Care Companion Tracey Tatlock and Unit 49 at the Peter Lougheed Centre for their care and compassion.
