Lorne is lovingly survived by his wife, Alison; his children, Vicki (John), and Paul (Louanne); his grandchildren, Liam, Jack, and Kate; and siblings Maurice, Louise and Bernice and many extended family and friends.
Growing up on a farm, Lorne learned the value of hard work and dedication at a young age. That early life experience shaped the successful career Lorne enjoyed as a professional engineer for many years. His career provided the opportunity to travel the world and make many dear and lifelong friends.
Lorne was incredibly proud of his heritage and took a huge interest in that of others. He could converse in many languages which allowed him to chat with a wide variety of people and be a social butterfly no matter where in the world he was.
