Born on November 16, 1971 in Calgary, Troy spent most of his life in the city he cherished. He graduated from James Fowler High School in 1989 and dedicated over 25 years of his career to Costco Canada, where his hard work and commitment were evident to all who knew him.
Troy found solace in nature, embracing the open air with camping trips and adventurous quad rides. His love for sports was unwavering – he cheered passionately for the drivers of NASCAR, Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Flames and the Kansas City Chiefs. Whether working on his motor vehicles or reveling in the excitement of a game, he lived with enthusiasm and purpose. If given the time, he could fix anything.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Sandra; his brother Shawn (Lisa), and their daughter Sierra; and his numerous cousins. Even through illness, Troy carried himself with quiet strength, humour and an enduring love for those closest to him. His absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who know him.
A heartfelt thank you to the Irricana Fire Department for their response to numerous calls for assistance, and the staff and physicians of PLC 53 for their compassionate care in Troy’s final hours. May his memory live on in those who shared in his journey.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
