Mack was born in Quebec City, with 6 brothers and 8 sisters. He was in the Canadian Forces for 21 years, then drove Calgary Transit for another 21 years up to his retirement. Mack and Dorothy loved to travel, and enjoyed spending their winters in Mesa, Arizona. Mack was an avid Volkswagen fan and loved his 1976 Volkswagen van. He loved telling people the story of how he brought it back from Germany after living there for 5 years while in the Canadian Forces.
He is survived by his loving family, his daughter Kim Vandam and her husband Stacey, and his treasured grandchildren, Graeme and Ashley. He is also survived by his sister Marion Resetti, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Lorraine Broz, many dear relatives and his cherished friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
