In her own words (with some minor edits)…
“I was born in Calgary, AB and attended the Stanley Jones Elementary & Jr. High and then Crescent Heights High School. I was successful in my business life, however, not so much in love and marriage.
I am survived by my son, Robert and grandsons Justice, Joey & Oscar Lee.
Special thanks to Dr. J.P. Leung & Dr. Peter Blomfield & Staff for looking after my precious dogs! If you were one of the people that helped me and offered support, I appreciate you.
I was blessed by the love, fun, support, protection, and joy of the best dogs: Sassy, Boomer, Murphy, Seamus, Dibley, Cricket, Wyatt and Augie (and numerous wonderful dogs before them), plus my beautiful birds!
I have gone to be with my Mother, Sonja, who passed away October 5th, 2012.
Mary requested that there be no formal funeral service so a private burial was held at Queen’s Park Cemetery on Friday, April 23, 2021.
Donations may be made in Mary’s name to the Diabetes foundation or any dog rescue of your choice (AARCS, Pound Rescue, Heaven Can Wait, for example).
