Mary Anne was a special "Auntie" me, and my deepest sympathy goes to her family.  I have fond memories of getting together with Mary Anne and we would do our stitching and chat about all kinds of things.  I admired Mary Anne for her humour and desire to stay current with the world.  She will be missed.

How sad I was to hear of Mary Anne's passing. She will be remembered for many good things, especially her spirit and upbeat nature. With sympathy, understanding and prayer.

Mary Anne was devoted to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was kind, helpful and had many strong friendships. Her ready smile indicated her warm hearted personality. She usually looked on the positive side of things and held strongly to her opinions. She was practical and frugal, proud of her bargains that she picked up at many garage sales.
Mary Anne's courageous approach to her very malignant cancer was amazing. Despite knowing her life was going to be very brief, only 2 to 3 months, she remained upbeat, calm and never cried poor me. We will never forget her incredible bravery. Gail and I were blessed to have Mary Anne for our sister, sister-in-law and dear friend. We and our sons Steve, Chris and Phil will miss here greatly. Our condolences to all other family members.

Our deepest condolences Bev, Dana and Family in the loss of your Mom, Bev.  Mary Anne was such a vibrant lady who was a dear friend of my Mom, Betty at Staywell.  I am thankful that I was able to take Mary Anne over to visit my Mom at Mom's last home in early August.  My Mom passed mid August so I know that Mom will be happy to be reunited with your dear Mom. Matry Anne has been my best friend for the last 13 years. Many days we had coffee, tea and shared jigsaw puzzles. I share your lose.

My condolences to all Mary Anne's family.
I met Mary Anne years ago while making fancy sandwiches for a tea at Rosedale United Church (now Wildrose United Church).
It is a small world while talking to Mary Ann over the weeks I found out that she had been on a Cruise with my Uncle's Sister & Husband.
We later enjoyed time quilting together.
When ever I would run into her & her Friends at the Crossroads Market on Fridays she always greeted me as Here comes trouble. The next time I am at the Market I will purchase a Crème Brule which she loved.
Mary Anne you are now at peace. I will miss you & your sense of humour.
