Jo was born and raised in England. There she met, and married her husband Alan while he was serving as a WW2 Canadian Soldier. When the war was over, they moved and settled in Calgary where they had 2 daughters Alanna “Lani”, and Kathleen “Kathy”. Alan was a successful business owner and Jo supported him as a homemaker. She enjoyed curling, shopping, tending to her flowers, and spending time with family and friends.
Jo will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathy (Michael); grandchildren Anne, Tonya, Lara, Nathan, James, Matthew, Sarah, Leland, Mica, Nigel, and Nythia. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Jo was predeceased by her husband Alan; and daughter Alanna.
A private burial will be held on January 6, 2020.
