

Max is survived by his sons, Colin (Danielle) and Chad (Jamie), and by the mother of his children, Diane Drescher; grandchildren, Jade, Braeden, Lucas and Zachary Drescher. He also leaves behind his sisters, Marlene (Dale) Bjorndahl, Maggie Ryane “Auntie Cheryl” and brothers, Clarence and Terry (Verlina) Drescher as well as many treasured nieces and nephews. Sadly, he was predeceased by his son, Brent, in 2011 and by his sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Ken Brehmer; brother, Calvin and parents Stephen and Dorothy Drescher. Max was an amazing painter and artist. He made specialty cakes and costumes for his children growing up and many of his incredible paintings and sketches are hanging in the homes of family and friends.
Relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Southern Alberta Brain Injury Society, Suite 102-2116 27 Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 7A6.
