May Horsley passed away peacefully at the Beverly Care Center on September 15, 2012 at the age of 83 years. May is lovingly remembered by sons Jim (Susan), Paul (Nancy) and daughter Dawn (Dean), grandchildren Sarah, Jason (Rain), Scott (Amanda), Megan (Sam), Jenna, Christina (Kirk), Krystal and great granddaughter Liv.
She was predeceased by husband of 51 years, Matthew Horsley July 22, 2007.
May was born in North York Township, Ontario on December 24, 1928. She met her future husband Matthew in Toronto and married on September 28, 1956. They later moved to Montreal then onto Ottawa, eventually settling down in Calgary.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Don Watt officiating.
Inurnment to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
