Mitchel Franklyn Schaufler suddenly passed away at home on Monday, October 31, 2016 at the age of 55 years. He was predeceased by his father Frank. Mitch will be lovingly remembered by Wendi his wife of 23 years, and his three children Keifer, Wylie, Loeden. His wife and children were the light of his life. He is also survived by his mother Florence; sisters Monica and Susanne; mother-in-law Gwen; father-in-law Larry (Shirley); brother-in-law Wade (Greta); five nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew. Mitch was well known in the construction business, a community that took him worldwide. He was always involved in the hockey and soccer communities through his involvement with his children. A Celebration of Life will be held at Carnmoney Golf & Country Club, (44001 Dunbow Road, De Winton, AB), on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Mitch’s memory may be made directly to Canadian Mental Health Association, (#400, 1202 Centre St SE, Calgary, AB T2G 5A5).
