Yvonne was a SRN, trained at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and during the war years served as a nursing sister in the QAIMNS. She was stationed in many countries and on various hospital ships during this time. Yvonne met and married Flight Lieutenant Kenneth Anderson when they were stationed in India and were married in October, 1945 and returned to England in 1946.
In 1953, the family immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, where Yvonne worked in Edmonton hospitals, nursing homes and doctor’s offices. Yvonne will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth and her brother James Deas (Dianne).
Mum and Dad both loved British Columbia (Duncan area) and all the many golf courses they played, and played, and played. Cremation has taken place. At Yvonne's request, there will be no service.
