Naomi was born and raised in Calgary and loved to wander and explore. She was an enthusiastic traveler by both automobile and plane who enjoyed travelling to destinations in Europe, Japan, and Central & North America with her family and many friends.
Naomi attended Queen Elizabeth high school, where she met the love of her life, Sean. Naomi married her high school sweetheart and had a loving, fulfilling, and rewarding partnership and marriage of nearly 30 years.
Naomi completed her business administration diploma at SAIT and worked for over 20 years as an administrative professional. She was highly organized, efficient, and found satisfaction in keeping others the same way.
Naomi became a mom in 2009 when she and Sean had their first beautiful daughter, Victoria. She was blessed again in 2013 when their second amazing daughter Amelia was born. Naomi believed her most important role was that of mother and role model to her daughters, whom she adored above all else. She was actively involved in her girls’ lives and spent much time involved in her daughters’ education, from helping with homework to participating on parent committees.
Naomi demonstrated bravery and courage to all those who knew her, especially in recent years as she faced and fought huge adversity. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Naomi was a wonderful daughter, sister, friend, and gentle soul who loved her friends, family and animals.
Naomi is survived by her loving husband Sean, their daughters Victoria and Amelia, her parents Marcel and Dolores, and her sister Angela. Naomi will be sadly missed by her sibling’s in-law, Kim, Carolyne, Laurie, Shelley, Mark, and numerous other family members and close friends.
Naomi can be described by loved ones as courageous, kind, compassionate, adventurous and an eternal optimist, always looking for the bright side. Simple pleasures brought Naomi great joy, and she preferred the company of loved ones and friends to all else.
