Olive Bennett passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her grandson Tim; two sisters June and Claudia as well as extended family and friends. Olive was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Daisy, her loving husband Frank and their only son Robert. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the level 7 staff at the Bethany Care Society who were especially kind and compassionate during her stay there. A Funeral Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Chaplain Marilyn Evans presiding. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Bethany Care Foundation, 1001 – 17 Street NW, Calgary AB, T2N 2E5.
