Philip William Thue

December 31, 1964 – August 25, 2015

Philip William Thue passed away surrounded by loved ones on August 25, 2015. He succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on August 4, 2015. Phil is lovingly remembered by his wife Renita; surviving children Anecia (Kyle) and their children Haze, Bria and Skyra; Jed (Jazmin) and Jillian; mother and step-father Joyce and Andy Haines. He is also survived by his siblings Caroline Schilds (Terry and family); Nona Anderson (Bradd and family); Fred Thue (Linda and family); Linza Boyd (Howard and family); Emily Hill (and family); Fern Chriest (Ken and family); Lydia Mann (Rick and family); Jeff Thue (Shannon and family); as well as numerous relatives and friends. Philip is predeceased by his daughters Brianne Thue on August 18, 2008, and Cheyanne Thue on August 4, 2015, who was riding with Phil on the motorcycle. A Funeral Service will be held at Edge School for Athletes, 33055 Township Rd 250, Calgary, AB T3Z 1L4 on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to STARS, 1441 Avation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7 or the Foothills Medical Intensive Care Unit, 1403 29 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 2T9.
