Bob is survived by Sonja; his loving wife of 41 years, his son Ryan and sister Vickie.
Bob was born December 20, 1955 in Victoria, BC. The summer of 1967 his family moved to Edmonton. Bob graduated high school at ME Lazerte and then went on to get degrees in Chemical Engineering and his Honours in BioChemistry at the University of Alberta.
At university he met his wife Sonja and they married in 1982. Bob and Sonja were blessed with two beautiful children, Ryan and Nicole.
In May 1997, Bob and his family moved to Calgary. He came to Calgary to accept a position as a computer programmer at Digital. After Digital, Bob worked for Compaq, then HP and was working at Olympia Trust until his passing.
With Bob’s untimely passing he leaves a void in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life and reception at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary, on Saturday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m.
