Rob was born in Calgary, Alberta where he lived his whole life. He was a skilled tradesman having been both a red seal pipe fitter and powerline man. As a young man he was an avid road biker and traveler with a love of the sun and hot destinations. During those trips, he was an active photographer with a keen eye for landscape photos. Rob had a lifelong love of gardening and the outdoors which he shared with others by having community gardens built at both the Nickle house and Colonel Belcher where he resided the last decade.
Rob is survived by his son Andrew Ziebarth; his brother Craig Ziebarth and sister Diane Kirby. He is predeceased by his parents Eleanor and Irvin Ziebarth.
A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
