

He was born in Antler, Saskatchewan living his first few years on the family farm in the community of Frys. His time on the farm were some of his most cherished memories. He would grow up and attend school with his four siblings and many cousins in town of Redvers, Saskatchewan. It is here Roger would start his own family with the birth of his first daughter Nicole in 1969.
Roger attended the Saskatchewan Technical Institute in Moose Jaw where he studied to become an electrician before eventually moving to Calgary, Alberta where his family grew with the birth of his second daughter Laurie in 1973.
In Calgary he pursued a career in maintenance working for Sungold Manufacturing before retiring from the Electrical Department for The City of Calgary in 1997. In retirement Roger was an usher at his local Catholic parish and volunteered for municipal, provincial and federal elections.
Roger is predeceased by his mother Florida (Florence) Moreau, of Medicine Hat; Father Gerard Moreau, of Medicine Hat; youngest brother Felix Moreau, of Calgary and niece Robyn Moreau, of Calgary. He is survived by wife Lynda Moreau, of Warman; daughter Nicole (Michal) Erben, of Calgary; daughter Laurie Kruger, of Marybough, Australia; grandson James Erben, of Calgary; granddaughter Isobel Kruger of Marybough, Australia; Sister Jeanne (Gary) Couzens of Calgary; Brother Raymond (Linda) Moreau of Medicine Hat; Sister Colette (Gordon) McGimpsey, of Calgary; and sisters in law Julie Moreau, of Vernon and Peggy Moreau of Medicine Hat. Along with many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Roger will be remembered for his fierce negotiating skills and his extensive knowledge of the Moreau family history. As well as His love of fishing, camping, gardening, the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a proud family man who loved attending large family gatherings. What he enjoyed most in life was the many adventures he would share with his beloved grandchildren James and Isobel.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Agecare Midnapore for their loving care of our father for the last two years.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
