Romano Rodrigues

Romano Rodrigues was born in Nairobi, Kenya and lived a life devoted to family, faith, friendship, and community. He worked for many years as an accountant and was respected for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. Romano had a deep love for jazz music, reading, enjoyed driving and going on road trips, eating home-cooked meals, and found great joy in serving his community.

He was a dedicated usher at Corpus Christi Church for a number of years, where he formed many lasting friendships and faithfully served his parish community. Romano will be remembered for his warm spirit, gentle nature, and the love he shared with those around him.

Romano Rodrigues is lovingly remembered by his wife, Delnora Miranda; his brother, Alex (Linda) Rodrigues; his sister, Rita de Souza; and his niece and nephew, Justen and Vanessa de Souza.

Romano is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Paulo Francisco Rodrigues and Felicidade Rodrigues.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at Corpus Christi Parish, 404 Northmount Place N.W., on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Raul Ranola officiating. Cremation to follow.
