He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his two daughters, Sherry Newman (Rob) and Susan Runquist (Andy). He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Samantha Johnson (Wade), Madison Maerz (Joel), and Olivia Runquist. He was blessed to have four great grandchildren: Hayden and Emersyn Johnson, and Pendle and Jude Maerz.
Ron was predeceased by both his father and mother, and his wife, Elizabeth (Bess) of 61 years. Bess & Ron will be reunited at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ron’s name will be gratefully accepted by: Empower Ministries and Operation Smile Canada.
