Ron passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the age of 69 years, surrounded by family. He was born in Calgary on October 5, 1944. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years Barbara, son Kent (Jane) and two adored grandsons, Jack and Evan. Ron is also survived by his Aunt Barbara Willoughby, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents William and Mary (Temple) and his brother Robert. Ron worked for many years in the photography industry. He had a great love for music, woodworking and fly-fishing. A Memorial Gathering will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
