Rosemarie passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, just two days shy of her 86th birthday. Rose was an avid bird watcher, painter, crafter, who loved a good game of cards. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Grammy (great grandmother) whose spirit will live in our hearts forever.
Rose will be lovingly remembered by her children Norine, Karen (Howard), Lance (Rhonda); grandchildren Jessica (Dave), Heather (John), Matthew (Sarah), Michael, Joshua (Kaitlyn), Ann-Marie and Danielle; great grandchildren Brayden, Jonathan, Madelyn, Jack, Lillian, Dominik and Vincent; and two sisters Shirley and Judy and one brother Ed. She was predeceased by her loving husband Murray, mother Ann and father Frank.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Calgary Food Bank.
