Rosolino was born November 25, 1925 in Trivento, Campobasso, Italy. In his early years, Rosolino worked as a Stone Mason and also served in the Italian army. Rosolino met his wife, Rosa, in the village of Fossalto, Italy, and married soon after. Both of their children were born in Italy prior to the decision to move their family to Canada in 1967. Rosolino worked construction until his retirement in 1993. While raising his family in Calgary, Rosolino's love for hunting, camping, and the outdoors was shared with his family and friends for many years. He was very proud that this passion was passed on to his children and grandchildren. Rosolino enjoyed many years of gardening and perfecting the art of wine making. Rosolino is survived by his son John (Mary) and their three children, John-Ross, Mark, and Laura Rose. He is also survived by two sisters in Trivento, Antoinettea and Gina, and their children. Rosolino is predeceased by his wife Rosa and their son Giulio. He is also predeceased by his parents Giulio and Assunta Iocca and a brother Nicola. The family would like to thank Care West Signal Point for the care and compassion they extended these past three years. The family would also like to thank Unit 39 at the Peter Lougheed Centre; especially Dr. Duggan, for her compassion during Rosolino's final days.
